This falling ball impact tester is designed based on the free-fall impact principle to evaluate the impact resistance of plastic sheets, anti-theft bottle caps, and similar materials. During testing, a specimen larger than 150 mm × 50 mm is cut and clamped in the holder, a suitable steel ball is mounted on the electromagnetic device, and the ball is released to fall freely onto the center of the specimen. The breakage is observed, and the breakage rate is calculated after multiple tests. The test height is adjustable from 300 mm to 600 mm, with an optional 300-900 mm range to meet different standard requirements. The sample thickness range is 0-2 mm, and standard ball diameters are 23 mm, 25 mm, and 28.6 mm, with optional 38.1 mm and 50.8 mm. The specimen is pneumatically clamped and released for fast and precise operation, while the steel ball is electromagnetically held and automatically released to effectively avoid system errors caused by human factors. The device also features a foot switch启动 mode, a protective device, and a centering device, making the test process safer and results more reliable. The main unit measures 470×400×920 mm, weighs approximately 30 kg, operates on AC 220V, 50Hz, and is recommended for use at 10-30°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 85%.
